摘要

In recent years, China and thePhilippines have been engagingin cooperation on agriculture topromote the agricultural and economicdevelopment of both countries.William D. Dar, Minister of thePhilippine Department of Agriculture,has commented that because thePhilippines has a massive populationof farmers and fishermen, the majordriving force for its rural developmentshould be effective technologicalstrategies and modernization. “Weknow infrastructure is the centerpieceof the country’s ‘Build, Build, Build’program, so why not launch a programto boost agriculture through relatedinfrastructure?”
