摘要

The ever-galloping Lancangjiang River nourishes this ancient charming land,upon which a liberation monument stands firm as a witness to the historical groundbreaking changes in Chamdo Municipality throughout the past 70 years.Chamdo is the first place in the modern-day Tibet Autonomous Region where the five-star red flag was hoisted.Chamdo's liberation laid a preliminary foundation for Tibet's overall peaceful liberation.
