摘要:
Multiple primary malignant neoplasms are defined as two or more metachronous or synchronous separate neoplasms in the same organ or different sites [1].Multiple primary squamous cell carcinomas (MPSCCs) are SCCs originated from multiple anatomical locations that share common squamous differentiation histomorphology and expressions of markers, which makes it difficult to identify whether the subsequent SCCs are metastatic lesion of the first tumor or other primary SCCs,particularly metachronous SCCs.Identification of novel sensitive biomarkers is still a priority to improve differential diagnosis of SCCs.
