Justus Lanok is happy that an ongoing project between Chinese and Kenyan scientists will help improve future conservation efforts and increase local and foreign tourists in Turkana County region in north Kenya. Born and raised in Turkana, one of the poorest regions in the country, he is aware that there are assets in his hometown that can be developed.
