There is a considerable increase in Chinese con-sumers' buying power,a growing integra-tion between the Chinese and global economies, an increas-ing Chinese policy emphasis on promoting imports and a consis-tently reaffrmed commitment to economic reform and openness from China. It is important that African exporters take note of these trends, because they cre-ate unprecedented opportunity for exporters to establish endur-ing trade relationships with a resilient market.
