摘要

The translator processes the preface, chapter I and Ⅱ. The five kings of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom are presented in a vivid way. The relations between these characters can be seen. The report's content is CE translation of the novel. The semantic translation and communicative translation can be seen in the translation. The language feature and expressive habit of the historical novels. Domestication is adopted in translation of historic novels. The theme of the historical novels. The selected chapters are translated by the methods of image preservation, addition, reduction, image omission. Cultural words are translated by the method. Cultural image is abstract culture. Cultural linguistics categorize culture into material, system and psychology culture. Difference in cultural image in CE translation is reflected in image omission, image replacement and image preservation.
