Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2)is a new disease that represents the current pandemic.Since its origin in China in December 2019,there is convincing evidence that the new SARS-CoV-2 is a highly transmissible virus.Kidney is one of the main target infected by COVID-19.We report a confirmed case of COVID-19 complicated with acute renal Injury during hospitalization.A 67-year-old female patient,a farmer,had a history of close contact with CO-VID-19 patient.The patient developed acute kidney injury (AKI)at afternoon on the 5th day of hospi-talization (9th day of onset),and then the patient was given high-resolution computed tomography (CRRT)for treatment.Patient outcome was clinical cure.Kidney inj ury has great role in screening of the evaluation of disease condition and prognosis.In additon,this case highlights the importance of CRRT for servere patients.
