摘要

Jane Austen had been concerned about the problems of marriage,love and education faced by British women.With keen observation and meticulous description,Austen reproduced the educational situation of middle-class women in England in the 18th century.The image of the gentlewomen in Pride and Prejudice implied Jane Austen’s deliberation on education and expressed her admiration for“proper manner”.
