<正> Since the fall of the Berlin wall, the number of racist attacks inGermany has increased. More than 12 people have, been killed andover 500 injured in the 2,300 racist attacks that have occurred sinceJanuary 1992. Many of them have been in eastern Germany, whereunemployment levels are high. Much of the violence is against newrefugees from eastern Europe and workers from developingcountries.
