摘要

Norman Conquest in 1066 has brought the indelible positive influence to Britain. In the aspect of language,Norman Conquest caused the massive French vocabulary emerge in English. This article briefly introduced the successional development of English in Middle Ages from those five aspects including the law,religion,literature. French words have reflected the corresponding relationships between the language development and the nationality development in the historical vicissitude of English.
