<正>Free Fall written by William Golding displays retrospectively the panorama of the protagonist Sammy Mountjoy’s childhood,adolescence and the agonizing self-knowledge achieved in his adulthood,which demonstrates the moral fall of the growing boy.The overwhelming disharmony throughout the process of Sammy’s growth spells out a pessimistic view of human’s moral development.
