摘要

Currently in most L2 litening classes, teachers tend to assume that listening lesson should mainly be responsible for by students themselves with the teachers acting as recording players. Based on the nature of listening and listening skills and strate gies, this essay tries to point out the possibility of teaching English listening efficiently in class with some typical examples. Hope fully it can provide some useful implications for L2 listening teaching.
