摘要

Shakespeare is a great poet in the history of English literature,and Sonnet 18 is just a most famous poem that wins universal praise.This paper is to study his magic art of language in this sonnet from a perspective of Formalism: how the literariness of Sonnet 18 is realized,i.e.the defamiliarization,at the phonological,lexical and grammatical level of the form of language respectively.
