摘要:
Language,thought and culture are closely related to one another. Both language and thought are culturally loaded and dependent,as culture is an almost all-inclusive complicated system with thought,views of the world,patterns of thinking,values,beliefs,customs and language as its underlying bases. Concerning the relationship between language,thought and culture,the Sapir-Whorf Hypothesis might be the most significant but controversial one,attracting much attention yet arousing great contention. Thus,in this paper,my thesis focuses on studying language,thought and culture revolved around Sapir-Whorf Hypothesis.
