摘要

This short essay discusses the conditions—and the general contours—of a viable ontology assigning a place to meaning in the architecture of the sorts of reality we acknowledge in the framework of a non-reductive realist philosophy(John Searle1,Barry Smith2)compatible with both cognitive and semiotic approaches to the human world.
