Scab and crown rots caused by Fusarium pseudograminearum severely impact wheat production, and thereby establishing a quick and sensitive detection method is meaningful. In this study,a loop mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) assay was developed for detection of F.pseudograminearum.In this procedure,a set of four primers matching a total of six sequences in the EF1-A gene region of F.pseudograminearum was synthesized for the LAMP assay by using genomic DNAs extracted from the mycelia. The optimum reaction temperature and assay time were determined, and the specificity of the LAMP assay was tested. This simple and sensitive method has a potential for detection of F.pseudograminearum in samples collected from the field.
