摘要

Summary Laryngopharyngeal reflux diseases(LPRD) refers to a kind of clinical syndrome that is caused by the [H+] and pepsin in the stomach entering the pharynx,larynx,nose,the middle ear,trachea and bronchi through esophagus.This disease has been gradually recognized by otolaryngologist in recent years.Upper respiratory tract infections caused by LPRD are often misdiagnosed or underdiagnosed,because its clinical symptoms and signs are usually nonspecific.Correct diagnosis of LPRD is the key to giving patients proper treatment.With the deepening of LPRD research,otolaryngologists gradually recognize that pepsin plays an important role in the cure of laryngopharynx trauma caused by reflux.Detection of upper and lower airway secretion of pepsin may be a promising diagnostic method for LPRD with high sensitivity.
