摘要

“China’s yesterday has been etched in human history, and China’s present is now being molded by the hands of hundreds of millions of Chinese people,” declared Chinese President Xi Jinping from the Tian’anmen Rostrum in a speech at October 1 celebrations in Tian’anmen Square in Beijing marking the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China (PRC).“China’s future looks strikingly bright.” Xi’s speech reviewed China’s past, analyzed the current state of China’s development and pledged a better tomorrow for the country.
