摘要

The Bonesetter's Daughter, carries on Amy Tan's constant theme of daughter-mother relationship, but it further casts light into Tan's multicultural view. This article is to study Amy Tan's effort of exploring ways for cultural reconciliation in a multi-cultural society. It points out that the novel reveals her multicultural view and appeal that people from different cultural back-grounds can understand, respect and tolerate each other.
