<正> A young Parish minister(教区牧师)about to deliver hisfirst sermon(布道)asked a retired cleric(牧师)for advice onhow to capture the congregation’s attention.“Start with anopening line that’s certain to grab them,”the older man said.“For example:‘Some of the best years of my life were spent inthe arms of a woman who was not my wife.’”He smiled atthe younger man’s shocked expression before adding,“She wasmy mother.”
