摘要

This paper first reviews the status quo of EFL reading teaching in FLC (the Foreign Languages College of Shanxi University) with some problems detected. The most distinct one is that most reading teachers lack systematic theoretical knowledge to guide their teaching practice, which has led to unsatisfactory teaching effects in terms of lesson planning,
