摘要

Eve as a literature archetype has been discussed by scholars frequently. Generally, there are two kinds of academic views towards Eve’s role. One side holds that Eve means the fertility of life and the other believes that Eve symbols the root of evil. This paper supposes to analyze the positive and negative identity of Eve in “Never Again Would Birds’ Song be the Same”, and it comes to the conclusion that this poem highlights the ambiguity and uncertainty of Frost’s poems.
