Tibetan architecture stems from the Shangshung period,though it matured later under the Pagdru regime.Grass was used to make walls,while timber formed weblike pillar arrangements to hold up entire structures.Windows were trapezoidal in shape and were painted dark.Rooftops,however,were like sparkling and shining golden towers,making them a telltale common feature of Tibetan architecture and a perfect display of local buildings*unique and vivid architectural styles.
