摘要

This paper is aimed at exploring the cultural reasons underlying the civil service examinations, which can be concluded as"Tri-Cs", namely the well-established agricultural civilization, cadre culture and family-oriented concept. Through in-depth analyses, the author strives to clarify the possible reasons for this exam fever and help delineate a clearer picture of the essentials of Chinese culture.
