摘要

As a teacher who has taught English for a long period of time, the influence of English is clearly seen in me. It has influenced me in the following aspects: the way of discourse strategy, the way to respond compliments, the way of calling people,and so on. And there seems to be some confrontation between the English culture and the Chinese culture. This paper is also meant to aim at how to achieve the balance about the confrontation. That is to respect the culture tradition and communicate with cultural sensitivity.
