After single heavy ion irradiation and asymmetric chemical etching,the single conical nanopore(based on PET membrane)can be successfully fabrication[1].The I-V hysteresis curve of conical nanopore measured in low concentration magnesium chloride solution is similar to the I-V curve of memristor[2].To further study this phenomenon,we test the nanochannel by fast sampling measurement.With the data acquisition card(USB-6003,National Instruments)and picoammeter(6482,Keithley),we can build a fast sampling and acquisition system,which can obtain 20000 data points per second at the analog output of the 6482 picoammeter.This is 2000 times that of the slow digital sampling method provided by 6482 picoammeter(10 data points per second),and it is able to observe the fast change and details of the ionic current through the nanopore.
