IntroductionLearning style is an important way of providing information on how to make teaching moreinteresting and effective.If,as teachers,we claim to pursue the best,most efficient ways of teaching,shouldn’t we also try to understand more about how people learn best?Inspired by Nunan’sUnderstanding Language Classrooms,and spurred on by genuine curiosity we set about a small-scalesurvey on learning preferences.As an experiment,we adapted Willing’s questionnaire‘How do youlike to learn best?’(Willing,in Nunan,1989).See Table 3.
