In China,if you are not married by the time you are 30,you are in for trouble:social blame& pressure from family & friends can get you down(令你失望).And if you are a woman it seven worse.Many young people get married simply to get other people off their backs(免受别人的指责).This is a serious compromise(妥协)with their ideals(理想).One ends up not marrying theideal partner(伴侣).
